SHORT BIO
ABOUT MOSES MOODY
Moses Moody, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, is a professional NBA player with the Golden State Warriors, where in his first season with them, he won an NBA championship in 2021. Moody showcased his talent and leadership well before going professional. During his high school career at North Little Rock High School, he led his team to multiple successful seasons. He was named to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette All-Underclassman and Arkansas 7A All-State teams. His outstanding performances earned him recognition as one of the nation’s most sought-after prospects.
In 2020, Moody joined the University of Arkansas Razorbacks men’s basketball team. As a freshman, he made an immediate impact, demonstrating his scoring ability, defensive prowess, and basketball IQ. Moody was vital to the Razorbacks’ success during his lone college season. Moody earned SEC Freshman of the Year and First Team All-SEC honors. After leading Arkansas to an Elite Eight appearance in the 2021 NCAA Tournament and a Top Ten finish in the polls, Moody declared for the 2021 NBA Draft. While brief, Moody’s tenure with the Razorbacks re-ignited the fan base and recruit interest in Arkansas.
Moody’s remarkable skills and potential were highly regarded by NBA scouts, leading to his selection as the 14th overall pick by the Golden State Warriors in the 2021 NBA Draft. In his rookie season, Moody quickly proved his worth, contributing valuable minutes on both ends of the court.
Off the court, Moody is known for his humility, work ethic, and dedication. He actively engages in community initiatives, demonstrating his commitment to making a positive impact beyond basketball. While Moody prides himself in being an advocate for the youth in every community, he loves to return home to Arkansas and help grow the community that invested in him – the Little Rock community.

Principles
TO LIVE BY
STAND ON IT
Being accountable is one of the most important things in life. It's not just about owning the decisions you make, but also being able to stand by them. If you make a mistake, own it and learn from it. If you do something right, own that too. You have to be able to look yourself in the mirror every day and say "I did this."
THE MAN IN THE ARENA
"IT IS NOT THE CRITIC WHO COUNTS;
NOT THE MAN WHO POINTS OUT HOW THE STRONG MAN STUMBLES.OR WHERE THE DOER OF DEEDS COULD HAVE DONE THEM BETTER. THE CREDIT BELONGS TO THE MAN WHO IS ACTUALLY IN THE ARENA, WHOSE FACE IS MARRED BY DUST AND SWEAT AND BLOOD; WHO STRIVES VALIANTLY; WHO ERRS, WHO COMES SHORT AGAIN AND AGAIN, BECAUSE THERE IS NO EFFORT WITHOUT ERROR AND SHORTCOMING; BUT WHO DOES ACTUALLY STRIVE TO DO THE DEEDS; WHO KNOWS GREAT ENTHUSIASMS, THE GREAT DEVOTIONS; WHO SPENDS HIMSELF IN A WORTHY CAUSE; WHO AT THE BEST KNOWS IN THE END THE TRIUMPH OF HIGH ACHIEVEMENT, AND WHO AT THE WORST, IF HE FAILS, AT LEAST FAILS WHILE daring greatly, SO THAT HIS PLACE SHALL NEVER BE WITH THOSE COLD AND TIMID SOULS WHO NEITHER KNOW VICTORY NOR DEFEAT."
