What if your greatest goal was to impress yourself?

Ever catch yourself overthinking how people see you? Whether they think you’re funny enough, smart enough, cool enough? Yeah, we all do it. But here’s the real question—when’s the last time you stopped to wonder what you think about them?

At some point, you gotta flip the script. Instead of stressing over whether you fit into someone else’s world, start asking: Do they fit into mine? Do they inspire me? Do they align with the kind of person I’m becoming? Or am I just worried about keeping their approval?

Being “cool” isn’t about impressing people. It’s about owning your perspective, moving with confidence, and not letting outside opinions control your path. And since it’s the beginning of 2025, maybe it’s time to make a shift: care less about being liked and more about surrounding yourself with people who deserve a seat at your table.

So here’s your challenge: Take a second and think about your circle. Are you choosing your people, or are you just hoping they choose you? The answer might just change your entire approach to progress this year.
