Moses Moody, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, quickly established himself as a formidable basketball player, first at North Little Rock High School, where he led his team through successful seasons and earned numerous accolades, and later as a standout player for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks. As a freshman at Arkansas, he demonstrated exceptional scoring and defensive skills, earning SEC Freshman of the Year and First Team All-SEC honors. His performance helped the Razorbacks reach the Elite Eight in the 2021 NCAA Tournament, following which he declared for the NBA Draft and was picked 14th overall by the Golden State Warriors, winning an NBA championship in his rookie season.
Off the court, Moody serves as a Director on the board of the NBPA Foundation and is noted for his humility and strong work ethic. He is actively involved in community service, focusing on positive impacts and advocacy for youth, particularly in his home state of Arkansas. His commitment to his community and his role as a model athlete highlight his dedication, not just to basketball but to contributing positively to society.
